I won this lovely item over at the Rocking Seven Mile Ranch blog, and got it yesterday. Isn't it beautiful? It is supposed to be for a key chain, but I'm not sure if I'll use it there, maybe it will be a zipper pull on a nice jacket. If you haven't been over to their blog, pop on over. Susan is an author, and her husband, Tom, does leatherwork and horsehair hitching; he made this.

If you have fans in your house, that would make a really cool fan pull. Beautiful!
I made one just like that the other day, only I used horse hair instead of leather. Same pattern but in natural horse hair colour, white, black and sorrel. I've been hitching and braiding a ton lately. Crazy commissions from people coming in.
Those also make lovely light/fanpulls as the Varunner suggested.
That is really pretty, I been wanting to learn how to make thosebut not sure I have enought patience.

It looks similar to my Yukutia/Siberian horse whip.
I like your header photo. The horse is full of muscles at the right place.
