Now that I've gotten to know my pup, I'm discovering her personality. She is very intense, and has the border collie stare down pat:
She is very smart, and a little opinionated- I made the mistake of closing the door on the crate she was sleeping in and now she refuses to go in it! No way she is being locked in again!

She really wants to play with Tess (Reba avoids her) and sometimes Tess allows it, and sometimes she doesn't.

Sammi is very intrigued with the other pups but plays a little too rough for them. She is learning her name, and comes right to me when I call, although sometimes I have to work at it to distract her from whatever she is focusing on. She is also learning that chasing cats is NOT allowed here!
This next week I'm going to work on walking on the leash, and sit. Also need to get her some chew toys- everything goes into the mouth; typical kid! She is adept at pruning my plants!

Oh she's a cutie!! You'll have so much fun with her!
What a little dolly! You are going to have such fun with her!
Oh way too funny! Love the up-date!!! There were around our cats here but our cats won't run period from a dog so she never chased them here, can't chase something that won't run lol P.S chasing cats is NOT allowed here either! hence the reason our cats won't run hahahaha We had LOTS of chew toys for them and I know what you mean about the pruned plants, it's happening here too!!!
I LOVE the picture of her trying to stare Tess down too funny, even Tess looks like she is trying to avoid the "stare" hahahahahah
Tara
the last picture is really funny:D looks like tess gave her a scolding:D
You know what pruning plants means right? Grassie greenies, the green barf they leave behind afterwards.
She's a cutie and Sammi really does suit her.
Its great that Sammi is settling right in with the family;)
Sounds like she's going to be a great dog if she's showing eye already. Smart too.....I wouldn't want to be locked in a crate when there's so much to do ;)
I love the last pic :)
So cute! We have two young pups too. What handfuls...but fun! Can't wait to catch up on your life changes! And it'd be great to meet up!!!! BTW...ol' Mac is still hanging in there! Think the lavendar must have helped somewhat!
Tess looks so much like our Bachgen, white-headed dogs. I find it's good to let the older dogs scold our pups then when we have to do it they already know what being in trouble is all about. I find myself growling a lot since I can't really snarl. LOL
