Today was Henry's day to go with his new person, and they took to each other quite well; I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing more of him as she promised to send updates and to visit. Of course, Ace had to get his nose in the photo too!
I put together a video of Sammi that really shows how much she wants to work. She's 3 months and one week old now; I think she is going to be one heck of a working dog. Just gotta channel that puppy brain now.

That was pretty fun to watch. Is Sammi laying down on your command or by herself? She is much calmer than our dogs, except Roxy, she's more like that and never upsets the cows. I love her colouring, easy to tell her from the rest from a long ways away.
Good girl, Sammi! She's definitely a "thinking" girl. And she's a beauty. LOVE it! Hugs to Sammi. :)
Awesome, we are very happy with the cross! One of the pups went to a working sheep farm and she goes with the owners daily to rotate the sheep on pastures and I got a email the other day that a lamb had broke away from the flock and Jazz saw it, took off circled it and brought it back to the flock before any of the humans could even think! They were amazed because in reality she is only a 3 month old pup and they haven't been training her she just goes with them at this point, but I guess she obviously has been paying attention!!
Thanks for the video of Sammi, I LOVE the drunk Border Collie look they get when they are watching so hard and their body moves before their feet know it hehehehe
smart pup. she would be a perfect herder.
That was so cute to see her put her head on the football...she's going to be great!
