Beamer was getting bugged by the bugs tonight, so I thought I'd play with him to take his mind off his woes.
So I chased him up a little, in the glorious evening light.

He obliged, as always with one eye on the camera....

and gave me his patented suspended leap....

and made sure I caught a rear or two...

and his "OK, I'm all done now " look.
Love my B-Boy!

There a beautiful boy! And a ham too . The new look is great!
One handsome boy!
I used to work for a reiner, cleaning stalls in exchange for lessons. There was a young grey stallion that would lie down to roll and then jump right up (not front end first) into a standing position. I loved that horse, wanted to buy him but couldn't afford to.
When we were young we owned an old sorrel stallion, an actual grandson of Three Bars, that I loved like that. There is something about stallions that I really like. They never do anything less than 100%, even if it's just kicking at a fly.
Beamer is such a beauty. I enjoyed seeing him having fun. :)
Too cool, seems the beemster loves the camera..:-)
Even though he was so playful and energetic, the evening light gives him a slow motion, quiet feel. Sort of magical actually.

He's a great model, for sure! The new wallpaper on your blog is great! Very suitable to a horse blog!
