Today's challenge was Graffiti/Street Art. Now, Creston is a small town, well known for it's murals, and while they are street art, I don't think that's what Ed had in mind. So I went hunting for graffiti of the illegal kind, and I had a tough time finding it. What I did find seemed to me to be obscenities, and not something that I would put on my blog, art or not. Until I found this one, which I found rather chilling........

I think I prefer barnyard graffiti like this:

Wow... that is something else...
Ahhh, those Canadians..:-))
Creepy.
Now that's just plain weird!
I lkke the barn graffiti better as well , that painted one is quite unsettling
wow thats kinda creepy, i agree with the liking hte barnyard one better too, even if i dont really like spiders.
I agree I like the second FAR better than the first.
Unfortunately, we have no shortage of graffiti here in Albuquerque.
I too so prefer the barnyard graffiti. What a gorgeous picture.
Very nice photos, I like the spider web too, very nice capture.
It took a sick individual to create that graffiti. Very creepy.
The web is much better...reminds me of the beautiful web messages that Charlotte the spider would create for Wilbur the pig. :-)

It is possible that this graffiti wasn't the creation of a sick mind, that this may have actually happened. It wouldn't be the first time that the death of a Native girl was passed off as natural causes. I agree that it is unsettling.
Ick! to both.
I was curious what the more rural Sunday Stiller's would come up with. Guess you can find grafitti anywhere, if you look hard enough. I'm with you and everyone else...the barn grafitti is preferable.
Strange! I think I prefer spiderwebs to sick minds. Too bad spiders get such a bad rap!
that's very errie
Great example and the spider web is a terrific idea!
