ewwwu! I had one hanging on the barn door for the longest time then I got tired of watching where I put my hands to open the door so I finally took the web down and it never built a new one.

Ew! We used to have those spiders when we lived in Golden. They get really big, and I called them Clown Spiders, cuz they look like they have a clown's face with a grin. Totally disgusting, yet I couldn't help look at those clown markings.

Not a fan of spiders, I hate this time of year because the spiders and webs are everywhere!

We have a LOT of these spiders. I don't mind them because they stay put; I never see them scurrying around, and never in the house. A spider in the house is a dead spider.

Shirley, do you remember when we lived in Proctor and I was about five? Joe would hold my shirt closed at the waist while Tony poured spiders down my back. I was so creeped out by spiders for thirty years after that. Now, not so much, cuz I have not been terrorized by them in so long. And Bruno always gets rid of them without dangling them in my face.

We have that same type of spider living in our garage. It does a great job at catching any flies that get in there, so we keep it around.

Ed, it's just a common garden variety orb-spinner, not venomous.
