Do you all remember this photo? Our local bank had a photo contest going, for submissions for their calendar for next year. I submitted 5 photos, and included this one because so many of you really liked it. It made the cover of the calendar!Another photo I submitted made it too; do you remember this one of Foose? I guess we can call him Mr. September now!
I got the corrals cleaned yesterday.Today is skirt work-make pickled carrots, and maybe do some baking- perfect photo op for Sunday Stills challenge, which is food. But I'd rather be riding!

I'd rather be riding too. (Wouldnt we all?) We're making pumpkin seeds here, and then I might roast off the pumpkin to puree and make into bread. (Gads THAT sounds ambitious huh? LOL)

I sure why they picked that one for the cover. It's great! Who knows where all this is going, eh?

Congratuations!!! My claim to fame in the photography world is photos of cows, grandkids, dogs and horses on various area business calendars and some North Dakota Stockmans Assn. pubications. No dollars involved, just bragging rights and showing people the awesome place where we live and work and our lifestyle!
Aurora, I use a simple Sony cybershot 12.1 megapixel pocket camera. I like it because I can stick it in my pocket or in a pouch on my belt and it's always with me. I need to get the lens cleaned though, there are spots on it when I use the zoom.
Judy, it's a nice feeling isn't it, to know that someone likes your photos enough to publish them, and as you say, just bragging rights- but thats good enough for me!
