We met in the parking lot of the local truckstop just outside of Bonner's Ferry, about a half hour drive for us. Merle was a chick magnet for all of about 30 seconds for the girl dogs, the only one that gave him more than a sniff was Paris, who did a lot of tail wagging before she decided that Merle wasn't her type.
We thought it cute that the girls all had matching outfits.
We had dinner in the truckstop and visited for about 3 hours. It was just like meeting friends we already knew- that's the beauty of sharing our lives in blogland; we already know lots about each other. Sarah is just as interesting and sweet as she seems on her blog, and Ted and Malcolm had a good visit discussing guy stuff.Stay safe in your travels, Sarah and Malcolm, and I hope your Florida vacation is wonderful and refreshing. We look forward to getting another visit with you next time you are up this way.

They look like nice folks ! So cool to meet them ,I always enjoy my blogger buddies meetings
I follow Sarah's blog, so it was fun to learn about you guys connecting and the dogs meeting. I bet it was a lot of fun!
I gave Sarah a hard time about driving through Denver on I-25 as we live only about 10 miles from the highway! She said she'd touch base sometime when they are coming through and have time to stop and visit! I can't wait!
How fun! I love meeeting blogger friends in real :) Looks like fun and fun for Merle to finally see some little dogs.
Sounds like it was a nice visit...for everybody. I too would like to meet more of these people we keep meeting in cyberspace. As Crystal says " For Real"
we had a great visit Shirley! Thank you, and Ted and Merle too, for driving down through the snow to meet us. I can't wait to do it again!
Those dogs are new to me! Yer learn something everyday!
It is so cool that you met a fellow blogger -- I have often thought of how neat it would be to meet some of the people I blog with. And it is true -- I feel like I already know some of these people. I refer to them as "my blog friends" when talking with my friends and family. I will have to check out Sara's blog.
It must be pretty nice to meet fellow bloggers.
That's really cool! I give you credit for traveling in the snow storm to meet them....I'd have had to take a ain check...no snow traveling for me! I become a hermit! When you come south...it had better be sunny or I won't get to meet you!
Very cool Shirley!! Sarah and Malcolm came through our area and stopped by a couple of years ago...they are awesome people. Their girls are just the cutest!
Very cool, I did'nt know you lived so close to the U.S. Border..:-))
