I couldn't bear to see the horses in their muddy pens any longer. So today I set up an electric pen for Beamer, and turned Clancy out in the round pen.
I'd say they were both pretty happy about that.
Clancy worked up a sweat, she sure was ripping around. She has been kind of sulky since Josie left. I think she's mad at me. She'll get over it. Looks like I will have to bite the bullet and pay to ride in the local indoor. So today I'll be checking my trailer out to make sure it's ready to go down the road.

Good for them!! I'm sick of the mud, too. It's bad. Even the stalls have flooded here which is unusual for us. It's my least favorite time of year, but it's almost over.
They sure look like they're having fun! We've got terrible mud here too - and more rain tonight!
We can now ride outside here...just haven't had time to do it yet. I sometimes wish we had an indoor arena a little closer but it is what it is๐
Love to see horses 'play' like horses!!! They were enjoying their freedom. We are not anywhere near spring; 4" of snow yesterday, another couple today, but the horses don't seem to mind. Soon they will be acting like yours.

Nothing like stretching ones legs!!
Ugh we have not much mud here just wind. Although I thought my arena was gonna be ready to work but we got a little snow yesterday so its too wet for a couple days yet.
Looks like they are happy to be out and about :)
