Well.... no foal yet! That means Teresa A, Leslie, Grey Horse, Linda, and Betsy in Wi are eligible to put in another guess! Meanwhile, there is this li'l rascal:
Derby is in getting his first halter lessons.

I finished my hotwire pasture, we put in some permanent posts and I strung 3 strands of electric tape; this is now Beamer's turnout pen so I can have both horses in grassy turnout pens during the day.

You can see the difference in the pens!. Beamer is very respective of fences, as I heat up even the wire, so if he is across the fence from another horse, he never pushes on the fence line.
But he still has to show off! Then the siren call of all that grass takes over;
Mmnomnomnom!
And so, the waiting continues!

Beamer looks great! How far is it for you to get to Derby? Will you be doing the training, and is he still your foal?
Jayne looks so un impressed with Beamer:) Hope you get that filly soon!
Linda- it's about an 8 hour drive to get to where Derby lives. Shayla will be doing all his training until weaning time at which time I will either bring him home or sell him. It depends on what Jayne throws as to which foal I keep, but 1 of them will be for sale.
Shirley, I don't comment often, but I do want to let you know, I still enjoy the heck out of your blog. Derby is extra adorable.
Derby is just beautiful. As for Jayne...well it will happen when it happens I guess. Here's hoping for a filly on Mother's Day the 9th!
