That was my question as I headed out to my gardens to see what indeed is coming up, since today is the spring equinox. Turns out the answer is lots!
Aurora- that is my Heleborus which apparently is quite happy!
Purple Emperor Sedum
One of several irises, all of them with new growth
All my daylilies are sending up new leaves
Lilies! this is my earliest one, it's a deep red.
Red bee balm, one of my favourites. I harvest leaves and flowers for tea and an oxymel.
Spinach that overwintered! It should have new growth coming along, I'm sure these leaves will be bitter. I also left beets and carrots in the ground but alas, the cold got to them.
What's up in your garden? I know you southerners have flowers already, hope you post them!

I'm in America. I saw my first Skunk Cabbage today. *lol* But the frogs singing at night are exquisite, I haven't heard frogsong in over 15 years.
So glad your Helleborus is off to such a good start!! I bet you are looking forward to seeing it bloom. Me too. I haven't checked mine yet.
I noticed some earlier Daffodils poking out of our raised barn bed. Ground plants were dormant last time I looked. Growing is SO delayed here in sand county. We have had some warmer weather. I'll have to make the rounds again.
I am a huge sedum fan! Love the steel blue/pink lower growing varieties.
It's indoor reblooms for me right now. My Christmas Cactus's are still blooming. One of my orchids from my mom is in bloom. I overwinter two geraniums every year, they are blooming. I have a surprise Amaryllis shoot coming up. Better late than never. Must have heard me think about giving up on it ;)
I'd love to have daffodils and tulips but I keep forgetting to buy bulbs in the fall!
Snow is what is up here! We have a good crop:) You will have flowers before you know it! Nice to see your signs of Spring!
