They do exist!

We live at the lowest point of land, being along the river, but coming back from town today we were treated to sunset over the distant mountains; they are about an hour's drive west of us. The dark band of trees in the bottom third of the photo is close to our place. Wish we could see that view from the farm!
Plans for next year include saddling up and heading west, deep into the forest and the hills!

I have taken Ruby for a couple of walks to check the mail. She really enjoyed getting out.

So helpful!

The walking weather was good, but we are headed back into the deep freeze. Next batch of warm weather I hope to saddle up and ride a bit. I kinda had that planned for today but we had to do a road trip that took most of the day.

Sneak peek at my Christmas tree- I want to do a post that shows some of the more fun/unique ornaments and I challenge you all to do the same! Lets see what creative minds are out there!
