Cookie thieves and ham

We are still in the deep freeze here; today is -33C or -28F. I've got my truck warming up for the next 20 minutes so I can go feed Beamer and the rest of the crew. So yesterday, I must say, I had a couple of little bad dogs;

This is their pleading-for-forgiveness look for eating all the chocolate-covered Italian cookies, and chocolates, and licorice that WERE on the coffee-table. I let them stew in their misery for a couple of hours before I forgave them.

Beamer very kindly posed for me;

Yes, Beamer, you do have a lovely profile!

Look, ma, no more snotty nose!

He did make sure to cough a little for me, but had to really work at it- what a faker! Some horses pretend to be lame to get out of work; Beamer does whatever he can to get sympathy. He is such a ham!

I laughed out loud when I saw those dogs. I know that look!! They do it perfectly too, the "Mom we're so sorry, we'll never do it again" look, lol.
Beamer, sigh. He is beautiful. Even in his winter woolies, his beauty shines thru. Gorgeous!

Must have been tough not forgive those sweet faces imediately!
Beamer is looking good, cute how he still has to "cough" to make sure he gets his special treatment
They have such wonderful and varied personalities

Oh my Gosh Shirley! Look at those faces! HOW can one stay mad at them?? They are so "innocently" sweet! (did they get a belly ache to pay for their misdeeds?)
Shirley, I hope you have a beautiful and prosperous New Year!
And I'm so glad that I met you this past year and to share in your life.
...hee hee...but please keep that frigid air with you and don't blow it SW! I want someone from down under to blow theirs up here!
Have a great day as such a great Lady as you deserves it!

With faces like those, it's impossible to withhold forgiveness. But they sure were bad for for eating stuff that was off-limits.
