Meet Snoopy

Today, Delia left and Snoopy arrived. I was still not happy about Delia so I didn't take any "parting shots" but I did get some "hello!" shots of Snoopy.

Here she is putting Josie in her place and establishing the pecking order. Snoopy, #1, Josie, #2.

"Yes Ma'am!"
Ummmm, Josie is okay with that.

The white streaks are the rain- it was pouring! She is put together really nice. She has a better back and no weird swirls. Her feet need a little work, but that is not an issue, we'll have Shayla do a set up trim soon.
I do have her up for sale, with someone interested in her as a brood mare- but it sure won't break my heart if she doesn't sell- she's a beauty! Built the way I like and pedigree the way I like- just need to get to know her a bit and take it from there.

Sounds like a good deal. I hear you on no parting shots. I have felt that way sometimes too, just be gone. Hope you get a riding horse soon too

She's a pretty one. Hope you breed her someday. The Beamer babies from those two would be super cute!

She is a beauty and I agree, babies with her and Beamer would be just beautiful.

So much has happened in a few weeks for you! Sorry to hear about Delia, but glad you got that situation all worked out. I feel you on sometimes just wanting them gone and forgotten. Snoopy is super cute though, LOVE that photo of her snarking at Josie haha, classic mare. Also excited to see what you find as your next horse. I'm very quietly/tentatively/hesitantly shopping for a new horse, and am terrible at it and hate it... going through your trials and tribulations helps me a little somehow.

I was certainly glad to see the back of my last purchase. I didn't wish him ill, he was just totally wrong in personality for me. We were the match from hell from the minute he arrived. I've never felt such antipathy for a horse in my life, and I'd bought him! Serves me right for buying him sight unseen. His new owner, by the way, adores him, but she is a very different person to me. Horses for courses, as they say. :)

Snoopy is very nice but I'm not going to get attached to her just yet if you don't mind, just in case she moves on. :)
