The girls got to ride again yesterday- I guess this makes day 3 of my 100 day challenge even if I wasn't the one riding. I led Rosalee and one girl walked with me while the other rode, and they switched out a couple of times as I led them down the dyke and along the river before heading back through the trees to the barn. Tired me out! Not used to that much walking.
Rosalee will be going to boot camp after the kids leave, I need to work on her ground manners and get a better connection with her - she has had 4 months off and it's time for her to go back to work.
Posing by our pond with a garden cultivator they found out in the bush. It's like new!
At feeding time that evening it was just beginning to rain and the mares started acting up, I like to think they were doing a sun dance!
That Rosalee sure is a powerhouse! I am looking forward to starting her on barrels as well as keeping up her reining training. No reason she can't do both.

A trail ride & a treasure hunt, lucky kids! You are no doubt the coolest aunt. It's fun hearing the girls joy as they watch your mares dance.
The kiddos must have thought they were in heaven! That Rosalee looks like she is trying to show you how good she would be at barrels!
