Never a dull moment

Things are going well with Dally's training. We did have one setback the other day when she decided that nuh-uh there was no way I was going to catch her....

Little munchkin did laps around the pen too.

I wasn't about to play that game so after a while I left her to her own devices minus her evening oats. Next day I got a little devious and caught Jayne and took her out to eat some grass (happy Jayne) and left Dally in. She was easy to catch then! Just a phase she's going through, I am sure. She is an independent little miss. Just how independent is about to get tested as weaning is happening in the next few days.

She sure does look like her mama! When she isn't playing silly booger she is quite the character, like this morning at chore time.

This evening we stepped it up a bit with the trailer loading. She has been standing tied to eat the last 2 times, so today I stepped out and closed the trailer door. Gave her a few minutes of that, and will increase the time she stands in there alone as we go along.

Stomping at those pesky flies. They can go away anytime!

This redhead is no deadhead; she is smart, figures things out quickly, and is very expressive.

She did great standing tied in the trailer! When you wean her, she probably won’t be running away anymore, you’ll move up quite a few notches on the mama chain. πŸ˜‚

Look at that saucy little minx. I think she's going to be so much fun for you (if you keep her) or for whoever gets her.
