Sunday Stills

Ed challenged us to photograph one tree; to find one tree all by its self. Can do!
Does what's left of my Christmas tree count? Rio is enjoying gnawing on it, and it makes his breath smell like balsam.

This tree is featured in many of my photos, it's a natural frame for the mountains across the valley. This is early morning light.

This little elderberry tree gets decorated every year by the people who use our road as a walking trail. I really enjoy seeing it, and over the year as it gets windy the decorations blow off into the deep ditch, and new ones are put up every year.

Love photos with humor so yes the first one counts - LOL but I do adore the one with the Christmas balls on it!

Great shots and good variety. How sweet that your neighbors decorate that elderberry tree.

I did not know horses would eat fir trees!

I love your take on the lone tree theme! Especially like the decorated country road tree. What a lovely thing to look foreward to.
Man you live in cold country! Brrrr!

I'd say Rio and the Christmas tree counts! Funny you. Love the dramatic photo of the tree with the mountains in the background.

I didn't think a horse would like the bitter taste of Christmas tree ;) I like how the snow makes a blue cast on the second one.

Love the second shot with the crooked tree. But I too thought of the Christmas tree, but mine is fake so it gets stored in the basement, but when we had real ones Neil took them too the edge of the coulee and stood them up in the snow. Sure looked odd for a while out there!

So pretty...love the decorated tree!!!

Do you have a trend up your way where people tie the laces of their shoes together and throw them into a tree? We do here...and I hate it! The ornaments are a much better idea!
