Today's challenge is numbers....well that fit right in with the Olypmics!

The most gold medals ever won in a winter Olympics and we did it! We came in 3rd overall and I'm sure proud of our athletes. There were some great moments, like this one where Crosby scored the Gold Medal goal in overtime to finish the games in style.

Number 27, which you can just see on the back of his helmet belongs to Neidermeier, who is from Cranbrook, just down the road from here.
There are plenty of other interesting numbers around here, and Foose is happy to present to you Ted's collection of old licence plates, including one from 1919.

Speaking of old things, numbers, and victory, here is a 1945 Canadian Victory nickel.

We keep it in a shadow box which displays Ted's collection of memorabilia from when he was a member of the 9th Battalion Voltageurs Commemorative troop. You can see the number 9 at the top, it was a pin on his beret.

Nice selection of numbers!
Really interesting choices, nice job. :)
Very cool, Foose makes a great presenter and I love the military stuff. My Greanpa was in the Queens Own Rifles from Ontario in the 40's..:-)

Congrats on the medals, eh! Pretty nice on home turf :)
Good selections very creative,I really hate that eh thing, that was probably one of the worst things they said about us at the games, it is not nearly as prevalent as people think.
Good job Shirley! I love the nickel. I'm going to have to find myself one of those.
very nice selections for this weeks challenge :)
