To answer your questions about the key chains made of horse hair a basic key chain is 15$. This does not include peyote beading. That tassel in my last post is about 7 inches without the clip there and would cost 30$ due to the braid the tassle is attached to, the cost of the clip and the beading which took me an hour by itself. I do button knots but I need tail hair to make the knotting, which does not cost extra. I can't do button or ring knots with mane hair.I can however make earrings easily that look very sharp in the form of tassles and even braid loop earrings and loop pendants out of mane hair but you need to put 5$ on the price for the braided ones. Heres my FAQ post which has prices http://bitlesshorse.blogspot.com/2010/01/horse-hair-jewelry-faq.html
Actually, Sydney, I was using my zoom on the last shot. I bookmarked your link and will be getting back to you. I'm thinking a couple of shoo-flys and a keychain fob.
Loved your pictures and catching up on you today after such a long absence I've had...I hope you'll come back and follow me again, if you havent forgotten who I am! :-). it was good to see how well you are doing and so great to read your blog again, I sure have missed all the great reading!
