September should be called Labour Month

I'm loving the cooler days- I'm finally motivated to get some things done around here! Yesterday Ted started on the board-and-batten siding on the front of my art studio, when that's done we are going to rip the interior out and redo it. We'll install a little wood stove too, so I can have heat in there in the winter.
It's a work in progress!
Yesterday I managed to do 6 horse feet- Belle's hinds and Chickory- so that leaves Gussie, it's been about 6 weeks since she was done. I plan on riding her after work today, before I trim her.
The little boys (well, I can't call Rio little any more- he's already taller than Beamer!) love getting out of their pen in the morning, and there isn't much ripping around; they just want that grass! I've noticed that the horses are really cleaning up their hay at night now that it's cooling off, so I have increased the amount of hay.
Rio's training starts this week... stay tuned....

Oh that is a beautiful art studio I could so live in there with the wood stove and the snow outside with the mountains just behind. I can see how this would inspire you. Labour Day is long isn't it? :) B
