Sunday Stills

This week the challenge is to utilize rays of sunlight in our photos. I found it a little hard to get a photo that wasn't over exposed for the bright part but still have detail in the shaded areas. Here is what I came up with:
Sunlight on the snapdragon bouquet on my deck table.

Freshly canned cherries.

Sunrise.
With this next photo, I wasn't using macro; I was walking by my flower garden doing the morning horse chores and liked the way the sun caught the edge of the rosebush, so I snapped this quickly. I actually like the softness, although it probably would have been technically better with macro.

Nice shots! I like the cherries too, but that might be the cherries I like so I am kinda biased, lol. But the sunrise one is a cool shot too.
