They were pulling this coach filled with the senior citizens:
Then there were the Percherons:
What a couple of characters! Love that expression!
And of course, we must have children on ponies! This little foal
was quite independent and not at all worried about mama getting way ahead of her. Cute as a bug's ear!
This was my favourite entry of all- the walking haystacks!

I love the fourth pic of the kid on the pony and the foal dragging behind. Funny and cute!
BTW, is the town you live in surrounded by trees? I absolutely LOVE to travel roads flanked by lots of trees (see second pic). As I once wrote to you, the nighttime sky in your neck of the woods must be shimmering with stars.
Shirley, get a telescope! Zero light pollution equals crisper image.
Tom, we do have lots of trees around here; my yard is ringed with trees. We are in the foothills of the Rockies and on the verge of the prairies. It's a beautiful area and yes, the night sky is spectacular.
Great pictures! This is a stupid question, but do you know what breed the paints were, pulling the wagon?
What a cute foal!
I think they are a Paint/Belgian cross.
