Kai is really looking a lot better now, still retaining some of that winter hair but a steady diet of unlimited hay, grass and Hoffmans Minerals really has him picking up- he is so shiny and happy now.
I keep Rio in a separate stall at night, so at morning turnout they play a bit- and Kai is the instigator. He is usually the one who comes over to Rio, snakes his neck at him, egging him into playing with him.

so Kai usually backs down....
for a while anyway.... then he just has to come back and pester again!

Kai is ready now for training, so today after work I'm hooking up the trailer and hauling him to the arena.
Also, miss Amber has a date with the trainer on Monday. She is going to be introduced to sheep, and assessed - I'm excited!

Worked Kai at home today- figured I didn't need to go to the arena just yet. Apparently I have horse eating sticks and ropes! But he did come around a bit and start thinking. I'll work him again tomorrow and do a post on it.
Lots of good stuff going on around there, I gotta get riding again been so busy have had no time and that has to change!
