Sara gave us an easy challenge for this busy weekend- some interesting road shots- I say, easy, because I didn't go anywhere so I get to use my archives.
Any time I travel to Alberta, I pass through the Rocky Mountains in all their splendor. So I will share with you some of the amazing, breath taking, glorious Rockies.
This one was taken on the road through the Columbia Icefields.
The next photo was taken from the highway, it is Columbia Lake, near Canal Flats, B.C.
The lovely Abraham Lake, west of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. This lake is a reservoir for the water for Edmonton and many other towns.
These are the Steeples range, between Cranbrook and Fernie B.C.
One more shot, from my own back yard... not the Rockies, but it has it's own beauty.

Love that last shot. That's a good example of power/telephone lines NOT ruining a pic ;)

the last one is the best:) anytime fall colors are out, its the best.
Beautiful shots..:-)
All your photos are lovely, but the last one stole my heart! The lighting and composition are perfect.
Great shots of the mountains, the last one looks so much more inviting though. It's calling out for a good horse...

So Beautiful..... love the shot with the power lines....
That power line shot is pretty cool!! But I love looking at the mountains, that is about the only thing I miss about living in Calgary is seeing them all the time.
