98 degrees might not be whole lot to my friends in parts of the US, but here, combined with the humidity, puts it over 100 degrees. That of course, put an end to my riding plans for a few days, as I work in the mornings. Also, there is a fellow coming to town on Sunday who does body work so I'll wait until he has worked on my mare before I ride. Hopefully Monday morning!
Yes, I did finally name her.
This sweet girl needed a laid back kind of name.....
One that reflected her uncomplicated, country girl nature.....
So I named her Clancy.

Its pretty Shirley! She is a beauty. PLEASE stay cool!!!
Very pretty horse, and too hot to ride. At least you can still ride.
Bleagh! we get over 100 all the time in the summertime here but not too much humidity, usually. Humidity kills me! I like the name, it's cute. She has very pretty, expressive nostrils. :)
I hate the heat. Hope you get some cooler weather soon.
Nice name for a nice mare!
The heat has been horrid here, too. Love the name :o)
Ugh the heat has been horrible here too, lots of days off which is not what me of my fat ponies need, but that's how it is. Unless I ride at night but thats more fun with friends.
Oh my she's gorgeous :) I love the name, it seems like it fits! Stay cool, it's been hot here too!
Nice looking horse. It's getting harder and harder to leave you comments....which is why I don't leave many.
Nice name...sounds like you like her just fine:)
