Summer seems to be lasting a long time here; we have only had one light frost so far, and the hot dry days are still with us. Some of the trees are starting to turn color, but it'll be a while before they put on their spectacular show. There are, however, a few signs of fall here.
The Canada Geese are heading south......
The apples on my tree are nearly ready to pick.......
The fields of grain in the early morning mist, ripening but not yet ready for harvest.......
There's a plethora of pumpkins and squashes of all kinds at the roadside stands.....
yup, a veritable plethora....
and some creative decorating at some of the stands.....

Oh, you gave me some ideas. I should have taken a picture of the aisle of Halloween candy in the supermarket. It amazes me how the stores stock that junk a month and a half in advance. Nice composition in your photos.

Summer has been hanging in here too . apparently it was 34C last week while I was away
Wow, all that fall color! We don't even know what that's about down here. No trees :( I miss it, but I don't miss the snow. Great pics!
