You're taking me WHERE?
Little miss Pearl had a date with the vet today; she and Thumper were neutered. And just in time, I might add, Thumper was feeling a little amorous towards her lately, to the extent that we were keeping them in separate rooms. They are recovering from their surgery and are sleeping it off . I'm sure they will be back to normal tomorrow- at least Thumper, maybe not Pearl. She's really sleepy and isn't moving around much.

She sure doesn't look like she thinks its a good idea! Poor kitty! She will be right as rain in no time.
when we got jingles fixed in germany she was not impressed. she was crabby for 3 days. then the vet had to put some nasty tasting don't lick or pull the stitches out cream on her stitches and jingles hated it. but it did the job.
My bestie Kimfer & I call it "getting fixed so they're broken" because really they're not 'fixed' they're no longer functional for breeding, therefore they are broken.

Ouch!......We have a Kerry Blu Terrier to "cut", they do not like it! Regardless of being cat or dog, come to think of it? ........Ouch!
Awww, I know how you feel. I felt terrible when we had our kitties done. They looked so miserable that first night, but the next day it was as if nothing had happened.
At least you know you are doing the right thing and helping to control the pet population!
Her expression really goes with that You're taking me Where.Our kittens were bombing around the next day ....walking a bit funny but happy nonethelesss.
That picture is perfect in there! I found our female noticed a lot more, in the morning, my male cat had already caught another mouse!
Around here we need our own Tomcat and all the males are "gelded". I'd have taken a kitten out of Miss Pearl;)
I have Cloe that is going to have the same done in a couple of weeks and in the mean time I still have three other animals to have vaccinations done!
So thoughtless of me, I forgot to say that I sure hope Pearl and thumper feel better tomorrow.
They might be down for a couple of days but it's sure a relief not to have to worry about kittens. Besides I always feel sorry for female cats in heat they act like they're really miserable.
