On my way home yesterday, I stopped and visited Gussie and her filly (and their people!) The little darlin' is battling foal scours for the last two weeks, but she seems quite vigorous and healthy otherwise. I've never seen a case of scours last so long so I'm not sure what's going on. There is absolutely no problem with the care she is receiving, so I guess it's just one of those things that time will take care of. Now that the weather is better, I'm sure that will help too.

She is just the sweetest little filly, and the spittin' image of Peppy her brother, even to the heart shaped star, although hers is all roaned out. She is definitely blue under that dun coat.
This filly is two weeks younger than Sparkle, but she is taller.

I think Sparkle looks pretty good though, don't you?

Both are just gorgeous!!
They are adorable. I just love seeing the foals on all of the blogs right now. What are foal scours? I am guessing it's a "plumbing" issue...just not sure.
such cuties!! I like the dark hair around the eyes. It makes her eyes look so intense. It makes me so much more excited about my upcoming event with Annie.
Hope the little one gets better soon.
Glad to see Gussie and Sparkle! They both look great!
BTW~you did say I would be losing Angel to her! LOL! I knew it was coming and glad that they are working so well together!
Pony Girl, scours is basically diarreah which most foals get when their mama goes into heat. It usually lasts only a few days and goes away on it's own.
